Profile Information

Why did you join HVFN?
I love to eat local foods, cooking, gardening, foraging (new at it). I love to read and learn anything about these subjects.
I found this website while searching for farm fresh milk closer than where I currently purchase, and I found the website very interesting and informative. I also found information for morels, which I love. We used to eat them all the time, when I was a child living in France. I have missed them.
Interests
I am mother of 2 great adult children and grandmother of 2 wonderful girls, I love to garden, have several organic raised bed gardens, care for my pets, and try to make most of our food from scratch and as much organic as I can.
I am a food lover, love to cook with fresh, natural, organic foods. I grow vegetable, herbs, many types of fruit, and have a small patch of morel mushroom, which I haven't had any to harvest yet. Hopefully next year. I love to preserve foods, canning, drying, jams/preserves, freezing. I also love to bake bread.
