A little weeknight dinner...

OK so I got it off Epicurious, but it's still good.I love her to pieces, but my girlfriend doesn't eat seafood other than white fish. Since she's away tonight I made a salmon with a white wine and mustard sauce. I also got some shrimp and grilled them with some Old Bay, and steamed some broccoli. YUM! Flavor galore!...And not a drop of oil or butter in the whole preparation, for those who monitor such things. Paired with Ommegang Witte beer--it's just sublime. All-White Dinner

Well, since there ain't no snow to be had, it occurred to me to create a little winter scene on my plate.I made a simple preparation of swordfish steaks, which are just so flavorful and firm, and when you cook them the flesh gets white. I did them on the grill with some cherry wood chips.On the side, I made grits with white cheddar cheese, with some rendered bacon bits and shrimp and garlic (German White of course!), all topped with a fried egg. OK so I got it off Epicurious, but it's still good.
