Anyone know of a Milk Co-op in New Paltz?

Posted on October 18, 2009 at 1:26pm 10 Comments

I heard a rumor that there's a woman who lives near My Market in New Paltz (Bonticou Drive, possibly?) who does a weekly pick-up of raw milk, cheese and yogurt from a farm just north of Albany. Does anyone have more information?

Lauren please send me your email so I can forward it to Leigh who will be picking up the 1/2 share you will be getting your 1/8 from. My email is sa6992@gmail.com

Also, the farm has been informed that there will be no p/u if the weather is treacherous.

Thanks

Oh sorry, forgot to tell you:

An 1/8 share will be about 127 pounds of meat costing approximately $395.

Please send a check for $300 to the farm as your deposit.

Thanks.

Hi Lauren,

If you don't mind, I'll use you as the point person, otherwise I'm liable to get confused!

Checks should be made out to and mailed directly to:

CEO Natural Angus Beef Farm, LLC

3866 Atwood Road

Stone Ridge, NY 12484

Please make sure the is a note on or with the check letting them know you are part of the Sophie Allen order. Please don't miss that, I don't want Holly wondering what order your payment is for.

I'll be coordinating p/u (hopefully) this week for the 1/21 p/u. Where are you located?

Nice to have you part of the share.

Hi again Lauren,

We now have only an 1/8 share left. Do you two want it?

Hi Lauren,

The price is for the hanging weight. Please let me know asap if you both want the final 1/4 share. Also the 3.10 price is based on a half share. Meaning you will have to split the box with another person. To have the farm make a 1//4 share boxes raises the price, so we decided to do it this way and save some money.

Sophie
