Come enjoy a Monday night of bread making at /root in New Paltz. Our friendly, personable instructors will guide us through making delicious, nutritious breads that we can make right from our homes- and for cheap!…
Many of the founding fathers were known for their prolific home beer production. Home-brewing beer should be considered a patriotic duty as well as a joy.

- Co-operator of Slash Root: the grassroots tech cafe at 60 Main Street, New Paltz, NY. We are a technology collective based in a coffee shop environment to make technology more accessible to people.
Enjoy a cup of fair trade, locally roasted coffee with all organic milk and sugar and snack on some locally made vegan cookies while listening to live music or watching radical media on the screen above the coffee bar. Try our organic sweet potato, walnut bread with a drizzle of locally made rose honey. Cool down with a glass of Jason's Mountain Mix, a blend of locally harvested herbs served over ice with a mint dipped sassafrass chew stick.
We also offer the Hudson Valley première technological services like computer repair, virus clean up, operating system installations (especially open source options like Ubuntu), website design, and table-side consultation.
