June and blueberries begin in July. Here are local farms
where you can pick your own fruit. Always contact the farm first
for hours and availability.

We picked sweet cherries yesterday at Fix Bros. Farm, took a bit longer to get the 5 lb we wanted but there are plenty there and lots of people picking. Going back for sours in a couple of weeks.
And, yes, as Rich mentions below, Thompson-Finch is THE PLACE for organic berries! Strawberries are winding down but blueberries should be ready soon.
518-329-7578 http://www.thompsonfinch.com/ Hey, if you want great organic strawberries, head out in the general direction towards Pine Plain, then follow Route 82 to Ancram and look up the rest of the directions online. The farm is on Wiltsie Bridge Road. I picked up a few pounds a couple of weeks ago. While you are there, after picking strawberries, continue down the road to Herondale Farm to pick up great meat and produce from the Herondale farm store. You will not be disappointed.
