I started making and preserving jam last year. my cousin did it for years and used damson plums. i looked all over for them and never found them. They live in Washington dc and I think that is where one can find them. I used large plums and tried the red and purple and had great jam.
made it with sweet and low as i have friends who are diabetic. I is just as delicious as with sugar.
