Kitchen design
Hello- Does anyone have a recommendation on kitchen design for a serious cook? I'm interested in function, not pretty cabinets. Also would like info on "best"electric stoves, brands etc. Thanks.

Hi Aleta,
I do "use" him often! He is my husband :^) but he also happens to be an outstanding designer/architect and has re-designed several spaces in our home to work more efficiently as well as designing kitchens-and more-for others. His web site is www.knoops.us

No recs on kitchen design offhand (my wife would probably love to offer advice, but she is no professional)
but did you happen to see my blog post? I have a really nice range and hood you might be interested in if you are redoing a kitchen. The stove is not electric, but I would never recommend cooking on electric for starters.
"Best" will depend on your budget, desired features, size limitations, etc.
