I think it would be great if you would consider covering Food Day and the myriad of activities planned throughout the Hudson Vallely and why some of us have chosen to get actively involved in the campaign. The campaign is getting alot of support from the state and has lots of volunteer boots on the ground trying to raise awareness and spark a conversation around some of the following topics:
Reduce diet-related disease by promoting safe, healthy foods
Support sustainable farms & limit subsidies to big agribusiness
Expand access to food and alleviate hunger
Protect the environment & animals by reforming factory farms
Promote health by curbing junk-food marketing to kids
Support fair conditions for food and farm workers

Miller's Organic Farm has Hudson Valley drop off points. I think it would be awesome if Hudson Valley farms could get together to do something similar where you could order all the healthy, awesome food products we want from one place coming from local farms collaborating. I live in Orange County, which is kind of a black hole for healthy food options or any sort of co-op

Feel free to come to one of our upcoming events.
