Rosendale Indoor Farmers Market

Shoppers will find
over 15 vendors selling local free-range eggs, root vegetables and sprouts;
apples, pears,and cider; cookies, muffins and cakes; Italian artisan breads and
crab cakes; maple syrup; organic granolas; cooking tools; coffee beans; handcrafted
jewelry; organic lotions and soaps; dried floral arrangements, wreathes,
hand-dipped incense and fragrance oils; organic goat cheese , goat fudge and
goat soap; local pastured beef and pork; pickles, jams and salad dressings; and
African market baskets.
Special guests include Girl Scout Troop #60216, selling home-made dog
treats to raise funds to paint the new Rosendale Animal Shelter. Also present
will be Katherine DeWitt, the 2009 Dairy Princess of Ulster County, who will
offer information about the number one agricultural industry in New York State
and the health benefits of dairy products.
Shoppers may help themselves to free coffee, tea and hot cocoa, and listen to
live acoustic music by guitarists/singers, Rob and Kat.
