Rain Garden workshop

Rain gardens look like regular flower gardens but function to capture and soak up rainwater from roofs and driveways before it becomes runoff. Cornell and Rutgers Cooperative Extension rain garden experts will teach participants what they need to know to get started with their own rain garden projects, from site selection to the choice of plants and maintenance.

This FREE informative classroom presentation will take place from 9:00am to 12:30pm on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Town of Ulster Town Hall located at 1 Town Hall Drive in Lake Katrine, NY and is intended for anyone interested in back yard storm water management.

Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, March 9. No walk-ins please.
