Pike Lane gardens will offer a three session workshop series .These classes will allow you to grow and eat your own organic vegetables!!
Session 1- Saturday, April 24th 1:30-3:30 p.m.
• How to create your vegetable garden beds or
prepare your existing ones for the upcoming
planting season
• Raised beds versus flat beds? Do I need soil and
fertilizer? Do my plants prefer sun or shade?
• What is PH and how to test your soil – (Good soil
makes good harvest!)
• What, how, and where to plant
• Planting your cold weather crops and making them
grow!
Seeds to include; Arugula, Renegade Spinach, Detroit Red Beets, Napoli Carrots and Sugar Ann Snap Peas
