 he opening of the market’s 2010 season on Saturday, June 19, 2010. S
 tarting that day, the Catskill Market will be open every Saturday from
  9:30 am to 1:30 pm in its new location on Main Street in the heart of
  Catskill. The market runs through October 30.\n\nAt the market, visit
 ors will find locally produced goods ranging from farm-grown vegetable
 s, fruits, herbs, and flowers to organically raised meats, freshly lai
 d eggs, local honey, jams and jellies, homemade baked goods, artisanal
  cheeses, and handcrafted wines. There will be seasonal items and mark
 et mainstays, so you’ll want to visit often to find the freshest pro
 duce from representative farms.\n\nIn addition to wonderful foods, vis
 itors can find the work of local artisans, as well. Artists, crafters,
  and others will be showcasing their work. There will be lots to see a
 nd do during the market on Main Street, too, including kids’ activit
 ies, music, food demonstrations, and more.\n\nLearn more about the bus
 inesses on Main Street as you stroll the town, and check out this year
 ’s crop of cat statues painted by local artists – part of Cat’n 
 Around Catskill. The area of the market will be closed to traffic whil
 e the market’s in session, making it totally pedestrian-friendly. Th
