4-H Spring Fun Festival

The Feathered Friends 4-H Club of Ulster County invites families to celebrate the arrival of spring at their 7th Annual Spring Fun Festival on Saturday, April 3 from 10:00am to 3:00pm, taking place at the High Falls Firehouse located one block south of the Depuy Canal House and the High Falls Post Office off Rt. 213.

Tickets are $2 per child, $3 per adult, or $6 per family. Donations of dog, cat, rabbit or bird food are gratefully accepted for regional animal shelters. Those who bring a donation will get a surprise gift! The Spring Fun Festival will have live baby chicks, rabbits and other critters to pet.

There will be plenty of hands-on activities for the kids which include dyeing Easter eggs, a treasure hunt in the chicken scratch, temporary tattoos and face paintings, planting flower and veggie seeds, making marshmallow rabbits, pom-pom critters and tissue paper flowers. There will be a Bunny Basics talk at 11:00am and 2:00pm and an Ulster County 4-H information table.
